My ass. You know what happens when I think positive? Disappointment.
You know what happens when I “look at the bright side”? Disappointment. Anger. Regret. Unhappiness. One little skosh of pride.
But that’s ok, I guess… Because being optimistic is everything, isn’t it?
Why would you do that?
Why would you let me get my hopes up only for you to crush them? The one time I decided to try being optimistic again, you killed it. Now you know why I stick with being a pessimist.
